Mother Goose

Another grueling ordeal, but i think it was well worth it. :) The project was a book illustration for one page. I chose this little childrens "Farm Animals" book I used to read.

The original illustration was of a big white farm-geese/duck-looking kinda bird. But I like Canada Geese, and who the heck cares if I don't draw a farm goose if thats (see right) all the text they're going to get?

The picture was drawn with pencil crayons (Thanks to Berol's reasonably affordable Prismacolor Scholar Coloured Pencil set!!) and was mounted on "grass" paper and a 10 1/4" x 8 1/2" card. The "text" page was mounted similarly. I was very much attached to the pencils for some time - it was my very first set of pencil crayons that had about any colour i wanted! <:)

By the way, that "grass paper" was obtained from the UBC Bookstore.
