The main storyline of Saints & Sinners is based around three major powerful factions that control many cities: The Syndicate, The Vincetti Mob, and the Devereux Clan. It is a storyline set in a world slightly darker, based heavily off of action movie styled things. People are more durable, they can pull off some amazing things, but ultimately they are mortal. There are very, very few with a strange gift or two, but nothing outlandish and to out there like pyrokenisis or what have you. In this 'world' people do still do battle with swords and whatnot. Of course, like any action movie, most people know at least some kind of hand to hand fighting. Most people, that is. The main storyline is more focused around three major criminal factions, who war with each other for territory, survival, and personal vendettas: The Syndicate, the Devereux family, and the Vincetti Mafioso family. Of course, there are lone wolves, freelance hitmen, minor gangs, and lesser underworld groups. These include but are not completely limited to: Mexicano gangs, Crypts, Bloods, Tong, Yakuza, Russian mob, etc.
