My Accord is a 2.2L, 4 door automatic, All power even has a sunroof.


I got my '91 Honda Accord EX on November 16, 1997, with 160,000+ miles on it. I haven't done much to her yet, in ways of modifications. I started putting modifications on my car after my 21st Birthday (Aug 1998). I will continue adding stuff to my Honda. I am doing a Purple and White color sheme on my car. So it makes it hard for me to add more stuff to my Accord when I want Purple stuff. Not a lot of companies make things purple, and seems nobody around here carries it (at least the shop I go to don't carry purple). But I am looking into ordering it, if the shops aren't going to.

Currently I am not really modifing my car. I am doing a bunch of maintaince stuff to the car to keep it running good. Got a new PCV valve, Brake pads, Lower radiator hose, alternator, Header gasket (twice so far), and got my axles replaced. Now just a couple things that I would like to get done sometime soon. Replace the front window seals, shocks, timing belt and the water pump, and find out where I have a exhuast leak in my piping and fix it.

My plans for my car change like day and night. Ok not that bad. For a while I was in debate on what I should do! I had a stock engine with 210,000 miles on it, and racing it all the time. Taking it to the track, and just putting my abuse on it. Well it came down to two choices I had if my engine was ever to go.

Just stick with the stock engine and rebuild it better then it once was, with port, polish, and blue printed with all the goodies. Build up the engine to be able to take the abuse of what ever I threw at it... Like Turbo or NOS.

Or my second choice would be go Hybrid, and stick a H22 (prelude engine) in there. At the time I was also concitering doing a tranny swap to make my car from a automatic to a stick. Well I later changed my mind about the tranny conversion, because sometimes its nice just to have a automatic. Like when you are on the freeway with all that stop and go traffic, or the times you just feel lazy and don't feel like shifting gears.

Well as of now I have thought about it and the H22 swap is out. I know that is kind of ridiculous, since the prelude swap would make my car fly. But I don't really see to many people make there stock SOHC non VTEC accord engines fast, so I dare to be different. Plus I have my 89 CRX and a 92 Civic Hatch that I plan on doing engine swap to in the future.

Another plan I have and would like to do sometimes is a rear disk brake conversion. I think it would look a lot better when having rims on my car, and seeing disk brakes through the rims rather then the rear drums.
