Antigua (An-tee'ga) is the largest of the British Leeward Islands, and the sunniest of the Eastern Caribbean Islands. The island has been unusually blessed with a fine blend of both coral and volcanic formations. Created ages ago, this resulted in a long, scalloped coastline all around the island and each bay can boast deliciously white sand. 365 secluded, powdery soft beaches surround Antigua- one for each day of the year. Here you can afford the luxuries of solitude and serenity in beautiful settings. The clear, sparkling waters provide water sports such as swimming, snorkeling, sailing, deep-sea fishing, water skiing, wind surfing, and scuba diving.
