My Antigua Experience
In March of 2000, my family and I stayed in Antigua for five days during our spring break. We stayed at the Yepton Beach Resort, which was on a secluded and peaceful beach. The most people I was ever with on the beach was four, which made it a great place to relax and lay out in the sun. Unfortunately, we did not go to any beaches besides the one our condo was located on, but I hope to go back in the near future and visit a different beach each day. A few of the restraunts we ate at included the Coconut Grove Beach Restraunt, The Inn at English Harbor, and Julian's. My personal favorite was the Inn at English Harbor, which was run by a couple from France. The wife managed the Inn while the husband cooked delicious meals, and what I particularly liked about it was the stunning scenery it provided. The locals were all very nice and the island has an interesting culture and fascinating history. Antigua is the most laid back, quiet, and natural place I have ever been to, and I definitely recommend it to anyone who needs a peaceful vacation.
