| The Honshazeshonen Symbol |

| This is pronounced �hon � shar � zay � show � nen�, and is the third symbol to be learnt in Reiki Second Degree. It is also by far the longest of the three traditional symbols and often daunts people when they first see it. Many worry that it is too long and too complicated for them to be able to learn � and some feel that they will never learn it!! Let me reassure you that I know of none that have not been able to learn it. The important thing to remember when approaching the Honshazeshonen symbol, is that there is no hurry � you do not have to learn it in the first go or on the first day! You may take as long as you need to learn it. Symbol for healing over distance. This is the symbol for healing over distance and time and as such, is a unique and very important healing tool to learn. Think about it! This symbol will be the vehicle for you to send your healing energy to someone when you cannot reach them to give them a hands-on healing. This is vital when you need to get healing to someone who lives too far away, or if someone is in hospital, or if someone lives in a remote area, or a different country, different state. Lets face it, even if someone lives only an hour away from you, it can still be difficult organize a hands-on healing. This symbol is also perfect to use in an emergency where you need to get healing energy to another person or situation as soon as possible. For example, someone has been injured and needs healing energy straight away, but you live too far away to be of instant assistance. The Honshazeshonen symbol allows you to send healing that will reach them well before you are possibly able to. In the case of someone who has suddenly been taken ill, (perhaps with appendicitis, or a bowel obstruction, or an accidental injury that requires emergency surgery) you can set up a positive healing outcome for their surgery, as well as set up a speedy recovery. Many of us have relatives and friends who live many miles away, interstate or even overseas and this is another example where the Honshazeshonen symbol plays a vital role in getting healing energy to those who you cannot reach in a physical sense. There are many healers who work with people they meet from overseas � especially using the Internet that has made it easier to access and reach others. This allows us to find those who need healing. Using the Honshazeshonen symbol, we can send healing to people all over the world. Distance healing is an important part of a healer�s role in bringing healing to others. It helps us to reach out to those outside our immediate vicinity, our home-town and neighborhood, and help people no matter where they live or how geographically isolated they may be. Symbol for healing over time. This is an incredibly valuable aspect of the healing possibilities that this symbol unlocks. Not only can it send healing energy back in time, but it can also send it out to the future, as well as other realities and dimensions! As I have already mentioned I often use this symbol if there has been an accident or injury to someone I know. I will send healing back to lessen the severity of the accident or injury, and also into the future to speed up the recovery time. Imagine sending this symbol in a sandwich to heal a family rift, a vendetta, an argument or fight, or any situation that you want to try to heal and create less of an impact in the present. Send it out to the future to create positive situations in your own life and the lives of family, friends and loved ones. Set up positive energy for your day, week or year and periodically reinforce it by repeatedly sending out the energy in a �healing sandwich�. For example, send it out to find employment, or a job in which you can be happy and fulfilled. Set up a healing for the future to bring love and happiness into your life. On a global level, send out healing to the future for peace and resolution to global unrest, increased awareness of the need to care for the planet, political leaders that will bring peace and understanding rather than war and devastation and fear � the possibilities are endless. All these are important healings that will affect a great number of people all over the planet. By sending out your healing you are adding your spiritual voice and healing energy to that of others, creating a huge powerhouse of healing energy. Make no mistake about how great an impact your Honshazeshonen healings can have on people and the world around us. *Always set up your healings for the highest and greatest good of all. |
