How To Sign The Seheki Symbol
Each line of the Seheki symbol is numbered from 1 to 9. There are six lines in the first part of the symbol, one in the second part of the symbol and two lines in the third and final part of the symbol.

The three stages of the symbol are signed with a fluid motion with only a slight pause between each stage for re-positioning of the hand. The name of the symbol Seheki is said once during each of the three stages of the signing of the symbol.

1. Begin at the top of angled line 1 and sign it from top to bottom.

2. Continue on to horizontal line 2, signing it from left to right.

3. Continue to angled line 3, signing it from top to bottom.

4. Continue to vertical line 4, signing it from top to bottom.

5. Continue to horizontal line 5, signing it from left to right.

6. Continue to slightly curved line 6, signing it from top to bottom.
* During the signing of lines 1 to 6, repeat the name of the symbol.

7. Re-position your hand at the top of the next stage of the symbol, which is curved line 7. Sign it from top to bottom.
* Repeat the name of the symbol as you sign.

8. Re-position your hand for curved line 8, and sign from top to bottom both starting and finishing on the curved line 7.

9. Re-position your hand again, and sign curved line 9 in the same way.
*During the signing of lines 8 and 9, repeat the name of the symbol for the third and final time.

There is no need to push the energy outwards as for the Chokurei symbol.
