| The Chokurei Sandwich |

| The Chokurei symbol has to be signed before any of the other second degree symbols i.e. the Seheki and the Honshazeshonen symbols can be signed and their energy activated. In fact, the Chokurei symbol is often used to �sandwich� the other two symbols. For example: Chokurei Seheki Chokurei Or Chokurei Honshazeshonen Chokurei Or Chokurei Seheki Honshazeshonen Chokurei Or Chokurei Seheki Chokurei Honshazeshonen Chokurei The order in which they come depends on the type of healing you choose to set up. For example, it may be a distance healing, or it may go back in the past or into the future, or it may be a past life, or it may be a mental or emotional type of healing. The reason for using the Chokurei both before and after the other symbols is twofold. Firstly, it has to be signed to activate the Reiki Second Degree energy. Secondly, the powerful boost of energy that it activates is also provides an immense impetus to push the energy of the healing outwards with an intense and sustained force. If you liken it to baseball, the Chokurei symbol can be seen as both the ball and the bat. The ball goes out first and the bat comes behind and brings about a great forward momentum. In �space� terms, it is both the rocket and the thrusters!! Examples of how the sandwich may be used. A) If you wish to send healing into the past you would sign chokurei � honshazeshonen � chokurei. Some examples would be if you wanted to heal something that happened in the past. I have used this if any of my friends or family have had an accident and hurt themselves. I send this healing sandwich out to lessen the severity of the accident or injury as much as possible. I also find that this hastens the healing process. Imagine working with this particular sandwich with perhaps an illness that is genetically passed on through family genes (healing could be sent out to both the future and the past), or into the past to heal rifts between family or friends or countries. Observe the results with interest. They may be gentle and slow, or swift and staggering - anything is possible so keep an open mind and heart! This combination may be used to heal past life issues or situations which continue to affect the current life. It can also be sent out for the future. Imagine using it to set up positive energy for a job interview, or for your day or week. Use it to set up positive energy for healing, for your daily lives, in situations where you think tension may arise, where you feel there may be trouble or negativity. There are some powerful combinations! B) If you are setting up for how someone will feel or think, then you will need to include the Seheki symbol. Bear in mind that you cannot change the way someone thinks or feels, but you can set up for the best possible outcome. Everyone has free will so their thoughts and actions and feelings are primarily their own, but you can set up a positive energy that will enhance the best possible outcome for the person receiving the healing rather than detract from it. The possible combinations for this type of healing would be � Chokurei � Seheki � Chokurei Chokurei � Seheki � Chokurei � Honshazeshonen � Chokurei Chokurei � Seheki � Honshazeshonen � Chokurei. These are all possible combinations, the latter including the Honshazeshonen if you are sending the healing over distance or time. If you are doing a hands-on healing with someone where you are not dealing with an issue involving time and distance, you do not need to include the Honshazeshonen symbol. The sandwich and the Tamarasha symbol. The Tamarasha symbol is the symbol learnt in Reiki First Degree and may also be used at the end of a Chokurei sandwich to provide stability and a well-balanced energy flow. To add this symbol, simply sign it after the last Chokurei of the original sandwich and again follow it up with a Chokurei. Chokurei-Seheki-Chokurei-Tamarasha-Chokurei continued....... |
