Reiki Second Degree Information Continued.....
The third symbol is called Honshazeshonen. This is the symbol for distance or absentee healings. It also allows healing to be sent forwards or backwards in time, as well as over distance.

Additional symbols??
Depending on your Master/Teacher, there may be more symbols included, however, these three are the traditional symbols of Reiki 2.

You may ask why some Master/Teachers would add symbols?  My reply would be that as we learn and grow, we may learn and add new things and that is also true of Master Healers. Nothing ever stays stagnant, for that would mean that there was no longer any growth happening. Where there is growth, there is life!

I have known new symbols to be added to Reiki teaching material as well as other healing modalities, and simply advise any student to ask for knowledge of their purpose and how to use them effectively.

As I have mentioned before, it is vital that you feel comfortable and have a good connection with your Master/Teacher. If you have any doubts about what or how you are being instructed, it detracts from both the learning process and how much you value what you are being taught.

Reiki Second Degree gives you the tools to heal yourself and others on a wider and deeper level. The Second Degree attunement is usually sought by those wishing to make healing a way of life, to help others heal, and to help heal the Earth. It is a deeper commitment to healing that brings a student to the point where they wish to take their Reiki a step further.
