| REIKI SECOND DEGREE INFORMATION |
| Reiki Second Degree is the level between Reiki First Degree (Reiki 1) and the Reiki Master level. It is also known as Reiki 2 or Reiki Level 2. Reiki First Degree gives you the opportunity to work with the energy for self-healing, as well as healing for family and close friends. It is also the level where you get to know what the energy feels like, and how you are going to work together. Reiki Second Degree is most commonly sought when someone wants to develop their healing skills and knowledge several steps further. It usually indicates the desire to become more dedicated in bringing healing to others. The Reiki Master level is reached when someone is a dedicated healer who wants to make a positive difference in the lives of others. Perhaps most importantly, they want to share their knowledge of healing and attune others to the energy. Only a Reiki Master can attune others to Reiki energy. Spirit Guides and healing. During the time you have been working with Reiki First Degree, you will have had a chance not only to connect with the Reiki energy itself, but also with those in spirit who guide and support you. You may have become more aware that you are never alone � especially when you are working with healing, and I have found this to be the case no matter what form of healing or energy you are working with. Many of you will choose to connect strongly with your guides so that you can become consciously aware of their guidance during a healing. Strengthening the connection and communication between you is important and will continue as you grow and develop spiritually. At the same time, you will be strengthening your own inner connection to the Divine, and you will come to realize that much knowledge already lies waiting within you. This guidance may take several forms such as 1. You may get strong feelings or urges to remain hands-on a particular spot for a long time. 2. You may see pictures/visions/symbols in your third eye relating to the person you are healing. This may be in connection to the healing itself, or you may get a vision of what is happening inside the body if there is a problem. *It is important to mention here that it is not our job to provide a diagnosis. If you feel that there could possibly be a problem that requires being looked at by a doctor, then please advise this course of action. 3. You may also develop clairaudience where you hear whispers in your ear or voices in your head guiding you during the healing. 4. You may have strong gut feelings and instincts that you cannot explain. These are all common ways that you may find yourself being guided when you are healing with Reiki as well as other types of healing energy. Reiki energy itself has a consciousness and will also guide you. Reiki energy will be drawn to a problem area in the body even if you cannot get your hands to it. For example, someone may have a vaginal problem or a testicular problem � both being areas where it is inappropriate for you to touch. If you place your hands around the base chakra or the tops of the legs, the energy can be felt travelling to where it is needed most. Experiment on yourself and feel how the energy travels through your body. As the connection between you and your healing guides strengthens, so the trust will build and you will have the inner faith and conviction to follow their guidance. Reiki Second Degree symbols. Although it is possible to work professionally with Reiki 1, it is usual for you to be attuned to Reiki Second Degree energy if you intend to heal in a professional capacity as it gives you more tools and levels on which to work . This level gives you extra symbols to unlock different aspects of healing. In Reiki Second Degree, there are three symbols. The first symbol is for power boost, and is also the symbol that activates the second degree energy. This symbol is called �Chokurei�. The second symbol is the symbol for mental healing. This symbol allows you to access the mind of the person you are healing, as well as their Higher Self. This symbol is called �Seheki�. |
