The chequered destiny of two men who continuously plunge their mighty souls into battle...
At the forefront of a rising tide of violence brought on by Galbadia's war declaration is a SeeD cadet named Squall Leonhart. Serious to a fault, Squall has earned himself the reputation of being a lone wolf.
A chance encounter with the free-spirited Rinoa Heartilly, however, turns his universe upside down. Having thrived on discipline, Squall finds Rinoa's carefree attitude fascinating. Yet there is no time to ponder these thoughts, for the job of dealing with the sorceress behind Galbadia's irrational hostility has fallen to SeeD and Squall.
Light's preferred team: Squall, Rinoa and Zell. Why? Squall's the main character, you have to have him, but he's the best fighter in the game. Zell is good, too. If timed well, his limit break can be devastating! And Rinoa, because some of her limit breaks can be useful, like Invincible Moon and Wishing Star. Reason two, I've had this team since Timber and I'm a stubborn guy. This left Quistis in the dust in the terms of levels, and I hate Selphie's limit break!

Do you like this picture? I stole it from the PC FF8 set up screen. It gets me so hot. Ha ha, just joking, because all three girls look weird in it. Anyway, since I've played FF8 so much I've become an expert on it, so soon, I may post a help page like I did for Legend of Legaia and Azure Dreams. Also, I might write up a walkthrough. I know there's heaps of those out there already, so I'm gonna make it the best damn FF8 walkthrough you ever did see! That is, if you haven't seen one prior to seeing mine. Also, I might write a Dragon Valor walkthrough as well, since I've checked and there are none at GameFAQs. Bummer. This yammering is just a waste of space so I can show off my new picture. Nice, huh? FF9 is coming. In February. Bummer. Also, it seems that details of FF10 are also out and it will be out in Japan early this year. It may be a sequel to a previous Final Fantasy, and some evidence points to FF8. The main character is named Tide. Yippee.
Update! Forget everything in the above paragraph.
