Welcome to the Kingdom of Digimon! I am your webmistress... my name happens to be Lightmistress2020! The "2020" at the end of my name comes from Digimon 02, but that was so obvious. So I just added two "02's" and put them backwards on the end of my name. And there you have it.
~*~Introduction to the Main Castle~*~
This part of the Kingdom you're in is called the Main Castle, where my lair is. There are many tiny corridors and hallways that lead you into different places in the Kingdom that may interest you. So go ahead and explore the realms of the Main Castle.
Disclaimer: I would like to add that I don't own Digimon (aww!) Digimon is owned by probably a whole lot of other people I don't know about. I just do this because of my HUGE love of the series.

May 20th, 2005 *Serious note from the webmistress*
To whom it may concern: As you may or may not know, this site has been sitting here, chugging along, floating around in that sea of zeros and ones that we call the web, for about five years. This site was at one point my pride and joy. I still love it and I still have a certain place in my heart for it, it being my first ever successful website and really, my only, unless you count my blog, or online journal, at Xanga (which I don't count). But now, it's time to officially tie all loose ends down here, tidy up a bit, and close shop. You'll still be able to stare into The Kingdom's windows... but this site will continue to remain silent, a lonely island sitting aimlessly in this black void of information.
Anyway, this site has been without life for about three years now, and I guess the only reason I've really had it up is for sentimental reasons, and I guess as a sort of archive of what was once a thriving fansite. But while I still like Digimon's first season, things aren't the same anymore, and I've moved on. Many Digimon veterans who were hardcore first season fans have moved on. I guess this is simply my *official* final update, since I never actually ruled out the possibility updating just for fun. If it makes anyone feel better, the huge amount of free space I still have is now serving purpose as storage for my pictures on xanga.
It's sort of sad. Seeing something you were so a part of disappear. I've seen some incredible sites and incredible people slowly just pack things up and go, to give up, not even leaving a shell left of what they once were for those who enjoy reminiscing. To name a few of those now gone, some of the best, actually, would include:

Cunomon and Lexxy's Realm of Digimon
(which in its original and purest form was so hugely successful that I think its popularity is mainly what killed it. By the way, the site itself is revamped but now solely dedicated not to the series but to the characters created by its owner.) You can get to here with the banner below.
Megchan's Digimon Sekai
(which was probably the second most influential Digimon site)
The Lost Temple of Ishida
(a hilarious, twisted, and hugely popular Yamato Ishida based site)
All That Is Ishida
(which... is pretty self explanatory)
...And many more whose names and appearances now elude me. Among the best were of course the obsessive Yamato Ishida shrines, the couple shrines, and the *huge* amount of fanfiction sites.
But there are still a few hanging on, hanging strong out there, a safe haven for current Digimon fans who sort of latched on a bit after this little falling out of sorts occurred with Digimon's original fan base. Blitzkrieg's Digimon Vault is the only functioning Digimon site I can name offhand. I earnestly recommend that you visit, because if somehow you made your way here for Digimon information, then you surely will enjoy having found The Vault.
So now I suppose I leave you to go ahead and roam the empty halls of this "main castle". Everything is still exactly where it was when I first started. The only thing I ever changed on this site was its colors. And even despite that, my Guestbook and a few overlooked pages still bear the black and green colors of The Kingdom's original color scheme. I ask that any newcomers still go ahead and sign the Guestbook, because I actually still am likely to check it, just in case. I started this site when I was twelve or so, and now I'm almost eighteen. I had tons of fun. All good things must come to and end.
