REDDING, CA – THE ADDAMS’ HOUSE – APR.8th, 2002 – MONDAY

     “Hey, Jared.” Ashley greeted him. Jared just smiled weakly and stared at Kirstin, who was glancing down.

     “Hey.” Jared tilted his head at Ashley.

     Ashley looked at Kirstin expecting her to say something, but she didn’t, she just kept looking down.

     “What’s wrong?” Ashley asked her in a low tone.

     “Nothing.” she looked up “Hey, Jared.”

     “Hey, Kirstin. Sorry, I didn’t know you were busy, I’ll…”

     “We’re going out for lunch, Jared.” Kirstin answered rudely.

     “Oh, ok.” Jared nodded “I’ll talk to you later, then.”

     “Hey, man, if you wanna join us, we’re…”

     “No!” Kirstin interrupted Ashley and he stared at her surprised “I mean… Jared doesn’t wanna feel like a third wheel, right Jared?” Kirstin shot him a look.

     “Yeah, sure.” Jared kept nodding “Thanks anyway, Ashley, but I really should go. We’ll talk later, alright?”

     “Yeah, yeah. Bye, Jared.” Kirstin closed the door behind her while Jared headed back to his car.

     “Wow… that was rude. And totally uncalled for. What was that all about?” Ashley asked as they were trailing to Ashley’s car.

     “It’s just that… I wanna be with you today alone. That’s all. I was with Jared these past few days, now I just wanna be with you.”

     “Aw, how sweet! Come here.” Ashley pecked her lips and they got inside the vehicle.

 

REDDING, CA – SHOPPING MALL – APR.8th, 2002 – MONDAY

     “So…” Kirstin said as they entered the mall “Where are you buying your clothes?” Kirstin asked Ashley. They had just left the movie theater and were now shopping for the Charity Event.

     “Wherever. Men’s clothes are not really difficult to find. Now, yours is tricky.”

     “I think I’m gonna buy a really sexy dress to have some jaw droppings at the event.”

     “Yeah, you should! So everyone will see that I have the most beautiful girl in the world.” Ashley smiled at her.

     “Yeah, right. I was kidding. You know I hate wearing those kinds of dresses. I’m just gonna buy a simple dress.”

     “Oh, ok. It’s your call.” Ashley sounded a little disappointed.

     “Listen… what about you go find your clothes and I go find my dress and we’ll meet at the food court after we’re done shopping?”

     “Ok, fine with me.”

     “Good. Then see you later.” Kirstin pecked his lips and they went their separate ways.

 

     Ashley wandered the place, looking for a tux. He stopped at the Hugo Boss window and liked what he saw, so he stepped in.

 

     Kirstin was roaming the place for about 20 minutes and still had no idea what to buy. She wanted to look good for Ashley on the event, but she just couldn’t find a dress good enough. She didn’t want anything slutty, but she also didn’t want something only a nun would wear. She wanted to look sexy, yet classy. Then she found the perfect dress. She practically ran inside the store.

 

     It had been 10 minutes since Ashley was sitting there in the food court. He then found Kirstin and waved at her, so she’d see him there.

     “Hey… found mine!” Ashley waved the Hugo Boss bag at Kirstin.

     “Yeah, found mine too.” Kirstin waved a bag from a store called Underdown.

     “Let me take a look.” Ashley said.

     “Yeah, right. Of course not! I want to surprise you.”

     “Hm… it sounds good then!” Ashley was excited.

     “Well… I like it.”

     “Then I’m sure I’ll like it too.”

     “What about you?” Kirstin tried to pick on his bag.

     “Nah, you’re not seeing it. If I can’t see yours, you can’t see mine.”

     “Ok. Fair enough.” Kirstin nodded and they headed to the parking lot.

     Ashley parked his car in front of Kirstin’s house.

     “Listen…” Kirstin started “I got some things to do tonight. Do you mind if I wanna be alone?”

     “Oh…” Ashley frowned “No, not at all.”

     “It’s just that I have some stuff to do and...” Kirstin saw the disappointed look on Ashley’s face and tried to make him feel better, but it wasn’t really working.

     “No, that’s fine. I have some stuff I need to finish doing too.” Ashley said.

     “Ok, then. But we’ll meet tomorrow, right?”

     “Of course! I’ll call you tonight, alright?”

     “Sure. I’ll be waiting.” Kirstin pecked him on the lips and got out of the car “Bye.” she said before heading to the front door. When she got inside the house, she turned and waved at Ashley before closing the door. After that, Ashley drove off to his house.
