Any eye that will be directed on me will automatically send a message to the brain: She’s not worth knowing. (Gee, I hope that the optimistic side of me will overcome the pessimist in me.) I’m experiencing inferiority complex sometimes, but when I said this, it’s not because of that. I’ve heard the line: “By merely looking, you’ll never know she’s intelligent” several times from my relatives and teachers when I was in graders. That’s why before, even when I’m raising my hand to answer I wasn’t called. I’m the silent little girl, soft-spoken and reserve during that time. Even in high school, teachers doubt if I have already graduated from elementary..that’s how I’m being underestimated (just because of my size?!)

I have never impressed anyone for the first encounter (:-/ anyway, how will I know if I had?) Maybe because when I don’t know the person, I also cant show the real me. (Well, other people were just like me, too.) More often than not people tend to think that I’m the silent type of person (Hold on! I know you’re reacting violently.) When I’m acting aloof and indifferent to someone new I’ll be considered hostile and snub. But if I become too friendly and talks a lot, they’ll think of me as a talkative and noisy one. I care no more, whatever their first impressions are; it will definitely change if they knew me better. I consider the saying “you’ll never know who a certain person really is unless you have experienced being with him/her for a longer period of time” as a fact. After all, first impression doesn’t really lasts…

…No one will dare to take a second look. Why bother? They’ll just be sighting an ordinary, simple, plain, average, and boring(?!) person. (How I wish had more self-confidence.) But let me react on the last adjective..I’m not boring! How many lips have smiled because of me? How loud was their laughter because of me? How many debate has started, punch lines thrown at each other and jokes rendered…all because of me? I wont spare the life of anyone who’ll tell me that I am… I may be bored with you but not the other way around. (NO OFFENSE MEANT. I just wish that the concerned person will be sensitive enough to know that I’m referring to him…Huh?! What made him say so? To whom it may concern: I’m not mad at you… Peace, Man!)
