| - Mixing Main Personailty cards from the Saiyan saga and the Trunks saga is perfectly fine. It dose not matter if the power stages of a level 2 card are lower than the power stages of the level 1 card for that same personality. An experinced gamer and deck builder who perfers the card power of the level 2 card from the Saiyan saga over the card power of the level 2 card from the Trunks saga, or vice-versa, is free to mix the cards any way he/her wants. - Cards that stop Combat can be played as an attack or a defense. If they are played as a defense, they stop all damage from the attack, but any other effects still happen. - Some card powers call for picking certain cards out of the discard pile or the Life Deck. After picking cards from his/her life deck, the owning player must re-shuffle his/her Life Deck - If you are playin a card (such as Saiyan City Destruction, or SCD) that directs you to place discarded cards back in the Life Deck, you may not take the card (SCD in this case) itself. Instead, the card, such as SCD, must be discarded. - A card's damage modifier is added onto the apporpriate Combat result. For example, "+3 power stages of damge" means the defender loses 3 more power stages in addition to the Base Damage. - Cards powers take effect unless specifically countered by another card. A physical attack may be stopped or cause no damage, for example, but all other effect is listed on the card, such as rasing or lowering a personailty's ange, still take place unless they are specifically stopped. - Name cards such as Gohan's Physical Attack and Vegeta's Physical Stance are available to any character, and any personailty may use them and their card powers. For example, the card Gohan's Physical Attack has card power, "physcial attack. Gohan gains 1 anger. Increases Gohan power stages by 5." If Piccolo or any other Personailty were to use this card, he would gain the anger as well as the 5 power stages. The only esception to this is if the card power includes the sentence, "If used by (personailty name here) it stays out on the table to be used one more time in this combat." If this appears on any card, only that specific personailty may keep the card out on the table to be used one more time in the Combat. (this is only applies to the Saiyan Saga only) |
