Phlat was chosen by Kharlamov because of his physical presence and street smarts. A big man he was intimidating and after he was made a ghoul he became even more so. A street regular he quickly exerted his influence and brought several small bands of hoodlums together into a useful tool for keeping the peace around areas that needed discipline. After a while as a ghoul Kharlamov decided he had a worthy candidate for creating a childer. Once this was decided Phalt became even more powerful. A feared presence on the streets he exerted Kharlamov�s will with great efficiency.
Phlat ran afoul when he met McCarthy one night. Details are sketchy but it is known that a fight broke out as McCarthy targeted one of Kharlamov�s childer to provoke the Prince into action. Phlat was defeated swiftly and his remains sent to the Prince as a challenge. The last anyone saw of Phlat was when his remains were displayed by Kharlamov to McCarthy in a baggie with one of his business cards tucked inside. It was than and there that McCarthy and Kharlamov joined forces.
