This attractive Cainite was the former prince of Zephyr Falls. Once the city fell to the Sabbat though, she followed the lead of several other Kindred and found her way to Toronto. She stayed only a short while to fuel the city's resources to fend off the Sabbatt and prevent the East coast from being devestated like her own former domain.
Acting primarily on rage she slowly lost sight of her goals and was known to fight without direction, at any sign of Sabbat. Vanessa quickly became a liability, and when she was called upon her actions during a public gathering, she openly denounced Camarilla law with her outburst of, "Masquerade be damned!"
Vanessa wanted vengence and didn't care who got in her way. Her extreme views matched her soon extreme actions, as she struck down her own allies to get to her enemies.
Once she was finally pulled off the front lines, her life degraded. She cared little about herself, and nothing about others. Her law practice, which she was once so passionate about was disbanded in her absence. She soon after fell into alcohol addiction, and left for Paris.
