Melissa's Weight Loss Journey
My name is Melissa and I am a 32 year old single "soccer" mom from MA.  I have one 9 year old son named Torre and he is my absolute pride and joy.

MY WW STORY
My weight problem began about seven years ago.  When I was a young girl I was always thin....my nickname was "bones"....my mom told me that the biggest thing on me were my knee's.  LOL.  I was a dancer who began at 2 1/2 yrs old and danced  until I was 22 yrs old.  When I started developing as a teenager...my boobs were rather large..34/C...but I was very fit and muscular.  I didn't realize at the time that I was creating very bad eating habits that I would continue into my adult life.  I ate fast food between dance classes, candy, soda, chips....but everybody was doing it and I wasn't getting any bigger.  I danced five days a week and had a very active metabolism.....UNTIL............
AFTER my son was born.  During my pregnancy I only gained 40lbs and lost 30lbs in the first month afterwards.  The last 10lbs NEVER came off.....and I just increased in weight from there.  NOW....here I am 235lbs ...and I don't know when it happened....I have been in denial for quite a few years.  Me?  Fat?  NO WAY!!!.  Well I am and i'm sick of it!!!  I never changed my eating habits and my exercise level decreased drastically, I had a baby, and the rest is history!!!

I started WW at home in September 2002.
In a few months I lost 30lbs...looked great and felt great.  I met a man from Canada, fell in love and I totally lost my focus.  I decided that 30lbs was enough FOR NOW...and I actually maintained that weight for an entire year.  I bought a new wardrobe and thought to myself "i'm never going back"  WELL...he broke my heart....which brings along emotional eating and I ate everything in sight.  The clothes slowly became tighter.  They have now sat in my closet for a year and I am very determined to wear them again.
So here I am ....doing WW at home AGAIN.  It worked before and it will work this time too...I go to the gym almost daily and I am very determined and motivated.  I will NOT stop and I will never go back...I will keep going until I reach my goal of 160lbs.
This time I am ready....this time I am in it for LIFE!
