Jaypeeto

Forgive me for not doing a point by point response, but I am extremely busy and just have time for this one bit for now.

All those things you said about no repentance being manifest so far, the same can be said of the Thyatirans up until the time that Jesus chastised them. My point? Simply this, that Jesus did allow time and so should we. On the other hand, there is no indication today that Jesus is providing personal chastisement toward any Christian group, so, today each of us must decide individually and conscientiously when enough is enough.

Other than that, the main point of my post entitle Falsely Prophesying was that the automatic condemnatory judgment of Deuteronomy 18 is not applied by Jesus towards his followers. That being the case then it is inappropriate for any Christian today to apply that automatic judgment. Jesus allowed time for repentance.
