I have a similar take on hellfire. I want nothing to do with any God that would allow hell to exist. If I knew for a certainty there was a God, and there exists a heaven and a fiery hell, I would choose hell. I mean, what kind of monster would I be to choose to live in heaven knowing that all that time people were burning in agony in hell??
What Prissy fails to understand when she says 'who are you to say God's ways are wrong?', is that supposedly we are made in God's image of love, and thus we understand the principle of love. Hellfire violates that principle on such a brutal level that any God that employs it is not worth worshipping.
