I've often wondered if anyone has ever written a sci-fi/fantasy story about a "good" spirit creature having what he thought was a love for God until he discovered Hell
at which point his love turned to disgust and finally a plan to overthrow God himself. It sounds like it could make a good story -- one I'd have to agree with.
