There was a King and His Son that lived in a castle far atop a hill. Most everyone in the kingdom doubted that the King and Prince really existed, for they never saw them with their own eyes. There were a few people that had said that
they had met the King and His Son, but when they told people, the others doubted that it was true. They thought that they had only imagined that they had met them.
The people in the kingdom saw the King's messengers; they received
the food that the King provided for the people of their kingdom, and they received protection from the King. They still doubted that the King really existed.
One day a little boy decided that He just had to find out if there were really a King and His son in that big castle.
He wrote out a note "Dear King and Prince, I really want to know you. No one believes that you are real. If you are, I want you to be my friend. Please come to dinner at my house tonight, so that I can meet you." He then signed his name. He gave his note to the King's gatekeeper, and went happily home to help prepare the meal with his mother.
That evening, there was a Knock at the door, and there stood in their
beautiful royal garments, the King and His Son. The little boy gazed up at them in amazement and delightfully exclaimed "You are real!" He then asked, "Why is it that many dont believe in you and have never seen you?" The King looked sadly
at the little boy, and replied, "They never asked."
The next day the boy went shouting down the street, "I met the King and his Son, and they are truly real!" Everyone laughed at him, and said, "That poor little boy, He needed so
much to believe that they were real that he has convinced himself that they are. Doesn't He know, WE have never ever seen them, that there is no proof of their existence?"
Jesus said, "Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if any one hears and listens to and heeds My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will eat with him, and he shall eat with me." Amplified Bible Rev. 3:20
Jesus Said "If a person really loves me, he will keep My word -obey teaching; and My father will love him, and WE will come to him and make Our home (abode, special dwelling place) with him." Amplified Bible John 14:23
Jesus said: "So I say to you, Ask and keep on asking, and it shall be given you; seek and keep on seeking and you shall find; knock and keep on knocking, and the door shall be opened to you. For every one who asks and keeps on asking receives, and he who seeks and keeps on seeking finds, and to him who knocks and keeps on knocking the door shall be opened." Amplified Bible Luke 11:8-9
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and without Him not even one thing came into being that has come into being. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men, and the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overtake it. ...He was the true Light; He enlightens every man coming into the world. He was in the world, and the world came into being through Him; yet the world did not know Him. He came into His own, and His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave authority to become children of God, to the ones believing into His name. Who were born not of bloods, nor of the will of the flesh, not or the will of man, but were born of God. And the Word became flesh, and tabernacled among us. And we beheld His glory, glory as of an only-begotten, from the Father, full of grace and of truth. John witnesses concerning Him, and has cried out saying This one was He of Whom I said, He coming after me has been before me , for He was preceding me. And out of his fullness we all received, and grace on top of grace. For the Law came through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. No one has seen God at any time; the only-begotten Son who is in the bosom of the Father, He reveals Him. John 1:1-18 Hendrikson Greek Interlinear Bible
Jesus said For God so loved the world that He gave His only-begotten Son that everyone believing into Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God did not send His
Son into the world that He might judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. The one believing into Him is not judged; but the one not believing has already been judged; for he has not believed into the name of the
only-begotten son of God. And this is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness more than the Light, for their works were evil. For everyone practicing wickedness hates the Light, and does not come to
the Light, that his works, may not be exposed. But the one doing the truth comes to the Light, that his works may be revealed, that they have been worked in God. John 3:16-21 Hendrikson Greek Interlinear Bible
