Think about for a moment. If men make too much medical progress God could always create new diseases to baffle scientists and if men get too uppity God could start a few more world wars to cut down there numbers. After all, diseases had to be created by someone and only God has the power of creation, right?

I wouldn't worry about men solving disease since God can change the rules anytime he wants.
