Bravo! You said that so well, and I couldn't agree more.
I have spoken out in previous posts (some time back) against some of the uncivilized and, frankly, un-Christlike, content of certain posts on this board. That having been said, I truly appreciate the candor with which we are all free to speak. As some are aware, I have posted recently on Witnesses.net, originally as a result of having an H2O post of mine copied there without my initial permission.
I am appreciative of Obed, and what he's trying to create. However, at least at the present time, posts on Witnesses.net have to be VERY carefully thought out and worded, to attempt to make a point in the gentlest of manners. Otherwise, one is very quickly shouted down as "apostate." The most serious difficulty is that most still equate utterances of the "faithful slave" with utterances from Jehovah himself. They will SAY that is not the case, but the posts speak for themselves. I love and respect those brothers, and support them. But, the fact remains that H2O, right now, still provides a unique forum.
I, for one, remain grateful for that.
