However, I wouldn't engage in any sort of dialogue with a person who could read my heart. I'd stay as far away from such a person as I could, as he'd have an incredibly unfair advantage, and his 'insults' directed at me would have that much more emphasis added. Perhaps that's why Counselor Trio's character sort of lost her acute ability to read people's minds and emotions on Star Trek after the first couple of seasons -- it would be awfully conspicuous if she didn't use that power all of the time.
