Sorry I have been gone the last two days. I have been working on Jan's comedy show here on H2O. I have almost completed my web page. But I wanted to give Jan another opportunity to contribute to exposing himself for the fraud he is.

Since Jan has not responded to any of my or Stafford's arguments, except with insults and idiocy, I would like him to please list his arugments on Yahweh and I will post them on my site. Since Jan likely does not have any arguments of his own he may simply sumamrize the "Jerome Biblical Commentary" and the other sources he sited but I KNOW he does not have and surely did not read.

But as I said before, Jan will not do it because he either does not know what they are saying or they are not saying anything he can use. WHY ELSE would he not site anything from them?

Jan also wrote.

JANEY - : But I suppose scholars have different opinions on the issue of pronuciation.

JAN - No they don't. Just get yourself an education, and don't wate our time with such ignorant nonsense. Whether you call it a diphthong or not is irrelevant. Phonetics is developed in Europe, and "Y" (J) is considered a consonant, so we don't call it a diphthong here.

Cygnus had sited a Russian web site that transliterates the Greek Scriptures, and they do list "ie" as a diphthong. So I told him that the Greek pronunciation is not a settled issue and this is discussed in Stafford's book which Jan has not read. Jan's reply is filled with the usual insults and he TOTALLY AVOIDED my request for a PRINTED grammar that has this diphthong in it.

Since I noticed upon coming back to the board that Jan keeps insulting me and Stafford, lying about Stafford not have taken a Greek course, when I emailed him the other day and learned that he has studied Greek and Hebrew at the university level. Jan is the one who has NEVER taken a Greek course. Isn't that right Jan? Hebrew? I did not think so.

That is why you find folks like Stafford and Furuli participating on B-Greek and B-Hebrew and you find Jan here!

I will gladly email Jan his list of arguments WHEN he provides them. I would also like Jan to face up to the fact that the following point destroys his position.

STAFFORD - "Anyone who cares to check the concordances will find that there is no name in the entire Scriptures that includes the Tetragrammaton and also omits the vowel that is left out in the two-syllable pronunciation [=Yahweh] Rainey upholds."

Have you even bothered to check the concordances Jan?
