Commentary on your post:
Even if You Know deserved his warning for not having turned the other cheek to God's enemies, I must comment what is wrong with this post.
> What do you say to a father who stands idely by and does nothing while one of his children is being raped right befor his eyes?
This is a highly insulting inference to God. How would you like it if someone claimed you did this with your beloved children?
Couldn't you have said instead: Based on this scriptures (giving citations not necessary full quotes to save space), it seems as if God stood by and did nothing while one of his children is being raped right befor his eyes? Have others interpreted these scriptures the same way as I?
> He has the power to stop the rape but chooses to do nothing.
Slander! You cannot prove this.
Couldn't you have said instead: Why did God do nothing when he has the power to stop the rape?
> He is also guilty of the rape.
If God were a person entitled to legal rights I would have checked the slander/libel box. This is an outrageous lie against God. Innuendo doesn't excuse one when it's clear whom they speak about.
Couldn't you have said instead: Wouldn't a judge in a court of law find God guilty of the rape, or have I missed something in the scriptures cited?
> Your god jehovah is just like such a man, he has the power to prevent the crime but chooses to do nothing and the longer he waits the more people he has to destroy when he finally desides to bring on harmageddon, if ever he will.
Add "IMO" or "in my opinion" to such accusations.
> Seems like he is still a bloodthirsty god just as he was portrayed in the old testament.
"Seems" is okay, so this is acceptable.
> Frankly mankind will destroy itself without gods intervention.
Personal opinion about the fate of mankind if one doesn't believe in God, although objectionable not in itself a reason to give warning.
You see my suggested rewording? Once upon a time in the early days of BBS's, this type of wording issue was called "speaking with proper board etiquette" to avoid "flaming" the board.
I have shown you can convey an identical message with proper etiquette, leaving open the possibility others might clarify your dim intepretation of the scriptures.
I encourage other moderators to comment on occation under their warnings as I have, if they have the time and feel strongly enough.
