Your god jehovah is just like such a man, he has the power to prevent the crime but chooses to do nothing and the longer he waits the more people he has to destroy when he finally desides to bring on harmageddon, if ever he will.
Seems like he is still a bloodthirsty god just as he was portrayed in the old testament.
Frankly mankind will destroy itself without gods intervention.
