I posted this message earlier, entitled "I Want My Warning." I got a warning... from Moderator 5, who issued a warning to jimmyjames at the same time. Based on the content of the two warnings, I feel confident in stating that Moderator 5 is Kristin, one of the site administrators.
Moderator 5 politely told me the following (a direct quote from this post):
I'm sorry COMF but in appreciation of your forthright post, I couldn't resist issuing this "warning." Your words are brevity at its best. I only wish others could get their point across as forcefully yet politely!
M5
And here's what she cited as the reason for the warning:
OR1: Too forthright : try a less direct approach
So... Kristin the H2O administrator liked my post, but thought I ought to tone it down some. I answered her back with these words, in this post:
Okay, help me out here... what do I need to do to clean this thing up and make it acceptable?
Now, can anyone think of any reason why, at this point in the proceedings, Moderator 14 would need to delete my post? It's already been given a moderator warning, according to the terms of the new moderator arrangement. He couldn't be confused about that, because he can see the Name field of the warning post: M5: WARNING :-)
There was something here about "Little Man Syndrome" in a previous post, but I took it out because there were other things that were more a case of opinion and kind of derogatory.
