M14 is here because he's the only moderator who will delete anything. The H2O Admins apparently want to draw the line somewhere between him and guys like me (I haven't deleted anything but pornography, profanity and duplicates in a long time). So, he's still here because he does something, even though it's too much.
The trouble is, the reform concept necessarily relies on the notion that there is something there worth reforming, and that thinking, non-brainwashed people will want to be/stay in the organization if it is reformed. Whether that is the case or not is subjective, and only time and circumstance will reveal the answer to the second part. But speaking for myself, I cannot hold to that notion. Nor can most others, once they learn how things really are. So, H2O has become a place for expressing shock, anger, indignation, dismay, and a host of other emotions as people realize the depth to which they have been manipulated and deceived. A certain amount of that would be understandable and acceptable, but I don't think the H2O Admins anticipated the turn things have taken.
The purpose of the site is still the purpose that it proclaims... positive discussion about reform. But it's so very difficult to find anything positive to discuss!
So... you have this board containing anger and outrage, and eventually (after the shock wears off) reflecting a cold, calloused attitude toward the WBTS and religions in general... which is not conducive to positive discussion about reform. Some of it is okay, but some of it needs to be culled if positive discussions are going to take place (that's the prevailing thinking as I see it, you understand... I'm "reading minds" here, not expressing my own view).
Well, Moderator 14 is the only one who will do any culling. So he stays.
