Don't worry about the chronology. I consider it IMPOSSIBLE without an extensive background in historiology for this period to accept the conspiracy theory under the present circumstances.
I think, like many things, that after the millennium has arrived, we'll collect all the fulfillments of these prophecies and check them off as being fulfilled after the fact.
And I've found, in particular, with this conspiracy, that even with isolated, critical individual facts, it's still hard to put it into perspective. And without explicit faith in the scriptures it makes it even more difficult.
So at this point, it boils down to just a wonderful sense of personal satisfaction that the Bible can now be directly confirmed with some documents of absolute dating for this period. ]
But I assure you, the more you know specifically about this chronology and upon what it is based, the more you'll see how contrived it is. It makes a difference when someone talks about these ancient texts and when you actually read them yourselves. You know, you get awake from the opinions about the evidence and start dealing with the evidence yourself directly.
And another thing is that long ago I came across some direct exculpatory evidence regarding the conspiracy. A historian basically ratted out the people who are now trying to keep the conspiracy intact. So for a long time there was a realism about the conspiracy and some detailed information that I had to prove it.
But...I had long ago decided I would not reveal the source of this extra data, so in a way, it wasn't that relevant to convince anyone about the conspiracy if they were not convinced by the general or Biblical information provided. So I can't blame someone for not being totally convinced if I'm not willing to put all the evidence on the table, right?
But since I know this chronology is correct, I'm basically here not to inform as much as to antagonize and meddle at this point with those who have the wrong chronology (smile).
And I'm just so happy I don't have to worry about the Bible's chronology being true or not. I now have alternative direct proof of the 529BCE chronology, and so I'm just ecstatic, and could care less if no one but me knows.
Of course, lots of people know, as I stated before. If this chronology is true, it certainly is a secret that wasn't lost over time. It was a secret that was kept and is being kept at all costs. The revision probably represents too much of a religious and academic shock.
Anyway, it's a can of worms and I think you're right to focus on what you can KNOW and focus on, and just to stay awake. Best regards in that effort.
