1. I believe in a "prime source", a creator.
"God" is a generic term that has been abused
throughout history.
The full nature of the creator is beyond my or anyone elses ability to comprehend. This cannot be
explained in terms acceptable to the majority. For example, the reason that the moon
causes the tides can reasonably be explained to the majority of people.
I don't think the creator is "religious", or requires
unnatural obesience in the form of ritual and dogma. My relationship is totally personal and real.
2. I believe that the bible depicts the real view of the people that wrote it. With some exeptions,it is not a
true picture of his/her nature. I don't think He's a barbarion.
3. There is some good in a lot of religions. Religion, however, is an attempt by people to reinforce their own views by listening to others with the same
opinion.
If you really want to know the nature of "God",
ask him, with an open mind, not some group with preconcieved ideas promoting their own agenda.
I TRULY believe that if you want to know the truth enough humble
yourself and ask, (just you and Him/Her), that it's available for the taking.
The first thing you have to do, however, is be willing to let go of some, if not all, of the preconcieved ideas you've learned all your
life.
