Crystal Schmidt

Eau Claire has been my home for my entire life; I was born here, and now I am going to college here.  And let me tell you what an exciting town it is!!  (Can you sense the sarcasm?) I live with my mom, dad, and little sister, but am fortunate enough to have my own secluded world in the basement.  I am very religious, and would describe myself as reserved and outgoing (yes, both at the same time).   I am a biology major and am also Pre-Chiropractic.  I am really excited about going to Chiropractic college in a few years, and living in an apartment with one of my best friends.

Mostly English 110 stuff.....

"The Day She Fainted"
A Collaborative Hypertext assignment for my English 110 class.  This story about a girl named Lynn (hehe) who fainted in church is told from Lynn's point of view, and her best friend's point of view.  There are also the feelings of a priest who has seen many people faint in church, and several links to information and sites about fainting.

Pop Punk/Emo Music
In a Collaborative Hypertext assignment for English 110, Brian Misfeldt shares his view, his father's view, and the neighbor's view on punk music, and bands like Blink 182, and Jimmy Eat World, The Doobie Brothers, and NOFX.
My Review of "Pop Punk/Emo Music"
"I am a 14 year old girl who knows Blink, but if listened to their old music would hate it."  This is where I tell you how I feel about Punk, and how I feel about how Brian feels about Punk.  You can also find out how both of our dads view Punk music, and why you shouldn't listen to it!

How the Internet Has Affected My Education.
A short essay on the endless information, and distracting nature of the internet.

Dr. Jerz's English 110 Page
