survival. Patience and determination are also important qualities imparted through hunting and are carried by the Space
Marine throughout his life.
The hammer and fire are important symbols to the Matamatas. The hammer represents, to the Space Marine, his acceptance into the Chapter and is a symbol of his skills and patience. The fire represents the harsh circumstances he grew up in on Kopjes and is a symbol of perseverance and determination. |
