| The black box shaped device with the two knobs (brightness and sharpness) is the monitor's flyback transformer. This is mounted on the monitor's PCB board, which was blown. During the troubleshooting process, I replaced the flyback. But, the monitor still wouldn't power up... | |||||||||||||||||||

| This is a close up of the monitor's PCB. You can see the video input connector at the left on the bottom. The red, green and blue wires plug into it, as well as a v-sync wire and h-sync wire. I have the other ends of these wires connected directly to my computer's video card. | |||||||||||||||||||
