How many of you know who the Drow are?
I learned everyhing about fantasy from my brother who was in to D&D and stuff like that. I had read about the drow in this game manual and I asked him about it and this is what he told me:
There was a time when there were no dark elves. As you may know elves are consistantly a pure good race. One day though there rose a dispute about humans. Many elves saw the humans as a threat and declared that all humans should be eliminated. I bet you can understand their concern for human came in many sizes, colors, and they could adapt to any climat eventually. Humans made up with their short life spans by doing as many things as possible. They were neither good or evil and seemed to sway between the two. The good elves said that they could not make that decision that it was the course of life and what was meant to be if that happened. There was a war between the elves though and the good elves forced the bad ones deep under to the underdark beneath the surface. There they came to worship the deity Lloth and their skin turned balck, their hair white, and their eyes red. They adapted to the dangerous underdark becoming more evil, and they could see with infravision. |
