By looking at the Trusted Computer System Evaluation Criteria (Orange Book), Information Systems Security (INFOSEC) deals with several different "trust" aspects of information. It is not confined to computer systems, nor to information in an electronic or machine-readable form. INFOSEC applies to all aspects of safeguarding or protecting information or data, in whatever form they are found.
This website provides an example of the reaserch, laboratory practices, and analysis that I have been working on for the spring 2006 semester.
Rather than just fulfill the class' requirements, this website may serve as an overview of what has been covered during the course and as a portal to some of the most interesting subjects and links related to INFOSEC.
Welcome! and remember... nothing is ever safe enough, but you can reduce the chances of being part of the statistics.
