Dressage...

Hooch, shown above, was started under saddle in 2003 and shown in 2004 in open dressage at Training and First level. He scored in the 60s at Training Level, with a high score of 68.7%, and qualified for the USDF Region 9 and SWDC Championships in 2004. He won the Region 9 Pony Training Level Championship, and placed second in the national USDF All Breeds awards (Welsh Section B) at Training Level in 2004. His dressage career was interrupted when his rider changed jobs, but he is currently schooling second level. Shown below at left is Divide's Time to Tango, Region 9 Champion Young pony owned by Sarah Wright, and at right is Divide's Pickaboo, shown at age 4 at Intro level by Laura Fitzgerald, age 9, and owned by Aliana Wright.

Driving...

Hooch was trained as a youngster to drive, and showed in the RRWPA show in 2005 with a novice driver (above left). Typically, he was completely steady and showed well in good competition. Shown above right is Caddo Copper Penny, owned by Faye Tanner, who is a multiple champion in driving, and has also earned her Welsh LOM award with points in many disciplines.

Hunters...

Hooch (above left) has not shown in the hunters as options for stallion entries are limited, but he shows excellent form over fences. His offspring have also been very successful over fences. Shown above right is Divide's Power to the Flowers who was Champion Child's Pony at her first AA show with leasor Emily, and who is qualified for the 2007 Pony Finals. Daisy is ranked 15th in the nation in the small green ponies as of Feb. 2007. Hooch is currently ranked 33rd in the nation of USEF pony hunter sires.

Halter...

Actually, Hooch (above right) is not known for placing well in halter, as he refuses to get excited enough to show well. His offspring however, have done quite well including Champions Tango's Dixie Lee (shown below left), Divide's Time to Tango (above center), Divide's Power to the Flowers (above left), and Divide's Mardi Gras (shown below right).

Hooch is available to breed outside mares in Longview, TX and Many, LA. Please email for details. His stud fee is $350. Click here for photos and information about other "Hooch" offspring. Click for Hooch's pedigree.
