The MOMS Club of Lewis Center, OH chapter was started in March of 2003 and has experienced tremendous growth. Recently, we sistered off into two chapters in order to be able to support more moms in our area and to stay personal and supportive. We now have three chapters in Lewis Center! There is a North Chapter , a Southeast Chapter and a Southwest Chapter.
MOMS Club (MOMS Offering Moms Support ) is a group designed just for you, the stay-at-home mother of today! You are interested in the world around you, want a variety of activities for both you and your children, and are proud of your choice to stay home and raise your children. How do we know? Because we are stay-at-home mothers too!
We believe that staying home to raise our children is a fulfilling full-time job! In fact, we think it is the most important job any mother can choose! We schedule most activities during the day when stay-at-home mothers need the most support! We believe that being a mother should not isolate you, so your children are welcome at all club activities. The MOMS Club is a wonderful way to meet other women who share your interests and concerns.
We are part of the International MOMS Club, the only international support group specifically for all at-home mothers.
The International MOMS Club was started in 1983 when an at-home mother in California decided that she was tired of being alone at home. She wanted to meet other at-home mothers and she wanted to find other at-home children for her children to play with.
When she discovered there were no organizations that met during the day or that allowed her to come with her baby and preschooler, she decided to start a new organization just for woman like herself. From this idea the MOMS Club was born.
