In God We Trust, United We Stand!

On the morning of September 11, 2001, our nation, our people, and our way of life was attacked in a cowardly and criminal manner.  The members of Level Lodge #137, as well as Freemasons wheresover dispersed through the globe, join in mourning, and remembering the victims of these heinous attacks.  The Masonic fraternity stands for and espouses the ideals that have made our country what it is today -- a beacon of hope for freedom loving peoples everywhere.  Our prayers are with the victims, their families and friends, and with the men and women who are charged with defending our freedoms.

Are you interested in becoming a Mason?

Have you ever thought about becoming a Mason?  Known as The Quiet Fraternity, Freemasonry is the world's oldest fraternal organization.  Its record of charitable work is long and distinguished, and it is well known for making "good men better."  Many famous men have belonged to the fraternity and many more not-so-famous men have also.  If you would like to know more about Masonry, you can find a great deal of information on this web site.  See the site map, and especially the sections What's a Mason?, the  List of Famous Masons, and the  Freemasony FAQ.

After browsing this site, if you are interested in petitioning a lodge for membership, you must ask -- Freemasonry does not solicit members by invitation.  Feel free to drop an e-mail message to Level Lodge #137 ([email protected]) and we will be more than happy to assist you.  If you are in the central Connecticut area, we will contact you and provide you with a petition to join our lodge.  If you are from outside of Connecticut, we will be happy to put you in touch with a lodge in your area.  Remember, 2BE1ASK1.

In Memoriam
The members of Level Lodge #137 pause to remember all those brothers
who have laid down the working tools of life and passed to the Celestial Lodge above.
Brothers, may you rest in peace.
