9/11/2005 Unholy Hailz !!! Belial is finally back up on-line. After 8 months without my own PC. I now intend to keep up on a more regular updating of the site. Cheers to Don Taylor for helping me keep this site going. The Contacts page is now current, as should be the links and history pages. I moved into the Tampa Bay area in mid Jan, 05, and with no place to live I stayed in my van for about 6 weeks until I found a small apt to dwell in temporarily. With the help of some metal brothers I was able to shower and hangout during those rough weeks. I've seen a lot of cool shows and met allot of metal heads in the scene and can only say that it is far better here than PGH. Being in a apt. and not having a rehearsal space to set up the "Chambers Of Prayer" studio in full, makes it a bit tough to jam so for the meantime Lethal Prayer as a recording/touring unit is on "Hiatus" until a drummer is procured. Drummers interested contact me. I am continuing writting material for future LP use. Butcher remains active in PGH with the band "First Day Dead" and a couple other projects and will rise to the occasion should his presence be requested in the future with LP. Anyone interested in any previous "Decaying Filth Music" releases can contact me for info or possible trades,interviews,ect. I have also begun working on another yet to be named project. 29 December 2004 Moving to Florida and getting things rolling has been a slower process than anticipated. I got here just in time to ride out 3 of the 4 hurricanes that hit this season. Then I was out on the road for 2 months working. January 2005 should finally bring my arrival into the Tampa area where I will dwell indefinitely. It's been almost a 20 year run in PA and it is well beyond time to move on. As I look back on all the accomplishments and recording of 2004, I raise the horns high to Butcher and Vent for their contributions and hard work for Lethalprayer, as well as a hailz out to everyone in my circle in PGH. Also I praise all the supporters of my unholy realm. I now look to the future of 2005 to see what will become of the LP restructuring. As things progress I'll post them here. There will always be links updates and soon some new photos. The re-recording of "Theosophical Decadence" and "Frozen Darkness" have not been mastered yet as the "Chambers Of Prayer" studio has not been reinstated into full 100% working order yet. There may be a few unmastered versions sent out as promos so anyone interested in one may contact me. The "History" page has been updated to the end of this year and will not be updated again till the Vernal Equinox 2005. Once again horns up to my unholy brethren and supporters of the underground metal in which we dwell. .................666 Belial Koblak 666................ 1 September 2004 The official relocation of Belial into Florida is complete and now the regeneration of Lethalprayer begins so that the infestation of the swamplands may ensue. Check the "Contacts" page for the new mailing address. Some updating on the links page has been done as well. 666 4 August 2004 This will be the last news update from PGH,PA. Belial's relocation to Florida this month is underway. During this time there will be very few if any Emails answered and no live on-line connections. Online activity will resume next month sometime. Pittsburgh has been the birthplace for Lethal Prayer and will remain a major place of importance in the evolving of the endeavor of LP over the last 2 decades. However it is beyond time to move forward to new realms of subterranean dwellings for the band and personal reasons. Belial extends his unholy hailz to Butcher for all his hard work and efforts he has dedicated to LP over the last couple years and supports him in all his future aspirations. Belial would also like to extend the hails to Vent for all his session work and recording for this blasphemous band. All the true underground fans of LP and this genre of metal in PGH deserve a unholy horns up and praise for their support here over the years. There have been some great shows and amazing parties and sacrilege to reflect on. Belial & Butcher have re-recorded ALL tracks except drums on the "Theosophical Decadence" MCD songs and there may be a version of this available for sale or trade in October. They have also been busy recording tracks for 9 new songs (without drums) for a demo to be unreleased as a reference for potential new LP members (session or otherwise) to be sonically assaulted with. Belial has written and recorded 6 additional songs as well. There will be many more to follow. The p.o. box address will remain for a few additional weeks and a new mailing address will be posted asap. All Email addresses except the NetZero one for Decaying Filth Music will remain the same. Look forward to a rebirth and new emergence of Lethal Prayer from the swamps of Florida in the future.
HAIL SATAN HAIL LETHAL PRAYER 5 June 2004 Since the last update 6 months ago we have talked with and auditioned several drummers for session and possible full-time position in Lethal Prayer and no one has met the criteria or stepped up to the plate that does. Earlier this year Belial and Butcher began a recording project with former session drummer Dr. Vent on a very old tune from the early days of LP titled "Frozen Darkness". This was meant as initial test recording in Vents' new "Emergencyroom Studio" and a project to get the wheels turning once again after the hiatus. This 10 minute instrumental has finally been completed and will be filed way with some other unreleased tracks for a possible future release through Decaying Filth Music. The decision for Belial to relocate to Florida for various reasons has sparked off a possible arrangement of Vent rendering his services once again to LP for a last show in Pgh before Belials' departure. We extend a goat hailz! to Vent for taking the time out of his extremely busy life to do this. This event will feature LP performing all the previous recordings made with Vent as session drummer plus a few well known LP tunes and a new track or two to be written by this trio. There should be at least a hour or more to be performed. No scheduled date or venue has been chosen yet but will most likely be in the first 2 weeks of August within the city limits. Keep checking back for posted updates on this event. It's been rather unfortunate that no drummers have been found to record the new release or demos of newer songs over the past 2 years so the search will be on in Florida and the continuation of LP will not rest there. Once suitable players are acquired Belial will continue on to march LP into the future for more sacrilegious music of subterranean existence. 666 \../ 29 December 2003 With this last posting of the year LP is currently on a short hiatus from rehearsals while Butcher deals with a personal family tragedy. The closing of a mostly bad year is soon to be behind us and the coming of the future year should hold promise of recording with several possible (names withheld for time being) session drummers. ANY SERIOUS individuals interested in working with LP as either session or a potential full-time drum position are highly encouraged to contact Belial & Butcher. With a full new arsenal of songs / gear and unyielding sacrilegious attitude, LP are preparing to unleash a furious plague upon the earth with ear splitting, soul crushing hatred. HAIL SATAN !!!

28 September 2003 The projected recording deadline will not be met now due to the inability to acquire a new percussionist. Several prospects of session players have failed but 2 still remain. Rehearsing with them for this recording will take longer than anticipated as they live out of our state and neither of us have the beneficial means of virtual or digital correspondence so the old fashioned tape 4 tracking is the only aspect we can deal with for the time being. Rigorous practice and writing will commence irregardless of this plight. There have been periods of time longer than this before adequate members were found. We shall persevere. In related news, interviews with "Horns-Up" zine and "Cult-Mongers" zine should be posted on their respective sites, be sure to check them out. 666 Cheers!
The summer hiatus has come to a early end due to a knee injury Belial suffered at work, so now the preparations for recording the next release are under way once again. The quest for a full time drummer has not officially been filled but a tenetive "session" drummer has been found. No names are being revealed until everything is definite. All interested drummers are encouraged to contact us for auditioning. New photos are being posted through out various categories on the pics page. A new bio is currently being written and will be posted with the next news installment.... Hail Satan 666...
