Built by the Northern Pacific either in the late 1880s
or early 1890s, in 1982 the (BN) Lester Depot
stood until the 1990s when
it was destroyed.
As a part of the Stampede Pass rebuild in 1996, BNSF brought in the new
Lester "Depot", this is identical to what was installed at Martin at the east
portal of Stampede Tunnel.
