Having Young Writers' Day in your school is a celebration of literature and art. For over fifteen years YWD has brought professional writers and artists into the classroom to reveal to students all the wonders of many different styles of writing. YWD workshop leaders are accomplished, published professionals and include: poets journalists playwrights, singer/songwriters storytellers novelists advertising writers non-fiction writers cartoonists humorists illustrators and other advocates of children's literacy and creativity
