| The Meaning of Our Name: International Oasis International People from every country on earth are welcome here. In our classrooms, people from around the world come together to learn English. But we all learn so much more than language! We meet people from other lands and hear their ideas and perspectives on life. We learn to respect each other and we see that everyone is valuable and special. We do all this through a common language, English, and it makes learning English lots of fun. You can come at any English level and you will learn with people from around the world. For this reason we are International. Oasis An oasis is a beautiful place in a desert. It is a place where people find rest and where they can relax. At an Oasis, people take a break from the hectic pace of the regular journey and recharge their batteries before continuing on their individual journeys. Certainly, our name is Oasis partly because of our great location only minutes from Fort Lauderdale beach where you can relax under the warm sun while looking at the breathtaking Atlantic Ocean. But we are more than an Oasis for the body. We are also an Oasis for your mind and your spirit. The Voyage Imagine this� you are traveling across a desert in your life. In the distance you see a change in scenery. As you approach, you find a beautiful oasis with water and the shelter of large palm trees. You decide to stop here to rest and recharge. While you are at the Oasis, many people from different lands come to rest there also. You speak with them in your common language, English. There are teachers there guiding the conversation, helping with language and keeping the conversations balanced and sincere. You speak of many things, and you become friends with these strangers from different lands. When you prepare to leave the Oasis, you know these people from far away places are your true friends. You know you have grown through your interactions with them. These people have given you new perspectives on your life and you know you are a changed and much fuller person for the experience. As you leave the Oasis to go your separate way, your new friends are in your heart and you are more refreshed than you had thought you could be. You also realize that your English has improved greatly!! This is our Oasis. In your journey of life, we invite you to come to the International Oasis. We are an English school and you will learn English here, but you will learn much more than English as well. Come for a week or a year. Recharge your batteries for your everyday life as you experience how learning English becomes fun when the teachers and students are all motivated and passionate about a common goal of learning.
