| International Oasis Mission Statement To provide a warm, friendly, and professional environment where we *give the best possible language classes to meet our students' needs, *do all we can to help students improve their language skills, *provide the highest quality language services and assistance, *encourage cross-cultural awareness and respect, and *treat everyone both inside and outside of the company honorably with the ultimate goal of improving communication and relationships between all peoples of the world. |
| A company name tells some important things about a company. For example, our name tells you that we are international, and we are an oasis. Knowing a company's mission statement is another good way to start to learn more about a company. What is a mission statement? A mission statement explains the reasons a company exists and what its goals are. It can help you to understand what is behind the walls of a company. We'd like to share our mission statement with you because it is who we are at the core... and we want you to know us. |
| The mission statement for the school hinges on the concept that it is a place where people from different cultures can come together and share their thoughts in a safe environment thus giving everyone the opportunity to broaden their perspectives on the world, to break free of the old stereotypes. If we can understand the reasons behind others' actions and learn to see them as people with hearts and families of their own, we will not be as likely to fear them or see them as the enemy. This is part of our attempt to do what we can to leave the world a bit better than we found it. (The idea of this last sentence was taken from a poem called "Success". Many people believe this poem was written by Ralph Waldo Emerson, but no one living today is 100% certain who wrote it. Click here to read the poem.) |
