Stick to the "three-bite rule". If you ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO HAVE the chocolate mousse, take 3 bites and leave the rest. The 3 bites should satisfy your craving and you won't be totally depriving yourself. (After the 3rd bite, it all tastes the same anyway!)

JOURNAL! JOURNAL! JOURNAL!!  I find when I don't is when I get careless w/my points and go over..

Write EVERYTHING down even if you go over.  You need to hold yourself accountable.  Make yourself see how bad or good you have done.

PLAN! PLAN! PLAN!  Try to plan your meals before hand especially if you are going out to eat.  Only takes a minute to look up points for a restaurant at Dottie's site!

Now whenever I feel the urge to eat something that is not OP I think these things:
a. if I eat this I will have to start my "days on OP" count all over again,
b. if I eat this every minute that I have stayed OP and every second of exercise I have done will be meaningless.
c. if I eat this every other temptation I have overcome will be devalued
