Phillip Duchane was the 4th child born to Thomas and Ellen Duchane. He is the first known family member to be registered in the Marquette City Directory. His name first appeared in 1886. His name also appears in the Marquette County Marriage Records in 1888 as Phillip Duchane, 25 years old, son of Thomas Dushane
Phillip married Mary Haglund, daughter of Andrew Haglund, on August 22, 1888. Mary died 8 days later. Phillip's name remained in the city directory until 1901. From that point on there is no record of him. He would have been about 38 years old at that time. We continue to research Phillip.
