Leo are are carnivores and feed mainly on crickets
and mealworms. most breeders feed crickets and mealworms as there main
diet. Breeder occasionally use waxworm, superworms, and pinky ( baby
mice ) to fattening them up, especially during the mating season. You can
purchase cricket at your local pet store for about $1 for a dozen, but it's
cheaper if you purchase it on the internet. Gut Loading : Gut loading is fatting the food before
it's feed to the Leo. Give the crickets a slice of orange before you feed it to
the Leo. Wait at least 24 hours before feeding the crickets to the Leopard
Gecko. Vitamins: Some vitamins are Repti-Cal, Fluker Farm
Repta-Calium Supplement, and HerpCare Cricket Dust. The supplements are use to
give calcium and vitamin D which is needed for the Leo to grow. The supplement
should be use using a plastic Ziplock bag then by putting some powder inside the
bag, then put some cricket in then shake the bag until the cricket is cover with
the supplement. Keep a dish for calcium in the enclosure at all time for the
leopard gecko to lick it anytime it needs to.
