This domain requires that the teacher know the history of the formal educational systems. Further, the teacher must know what is good, not as good or bad with those models.

Exhibit Explanation

This exhibit is a literature review of the history of and methods of teaching critical thinking skills. The exhibit discusses Bloom's theory along with content and standards based systems.

Rationale

This exhibit shows my knowledge of the history of the educational systems. Additionally, it illustrates knowledge of the advantages and disadvantages of the models.

Self-Evaluation and Reflection

The exhibit is good, however I need to continue the research and continue implementing my findings.

How Observed and/or Verified

The paper was turned in and graded.

Validation of Student Learning

The additional focus on critical thinking and other higher level thinking skills is evidenced in WebQuest and research modules pre and post tests along with the projects final products.
