Isa 11:9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.

There will be no violence near the temple or the rest of the world for that matter. The world shall be covered with the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea means that everyone will know Him.

Isa 14:7 The whole earth is at rest, [and] is quiet: they break forth into singing.

This will be the result of destroying everyone who is evil at the start of the Kingdom of Christ, and His iron rule. The whole earth will be in peace and at rest.

Isa 32:16 Then judgment shall dwell in the wilderness, and righteousness remain in the fruitful field.

This is pointing out that Justice and righteousness will be all over the world.

Isa 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.

During the Kingdom, the righteousness of Christ will bring the peace on earth that was sung about the day when Christ was born. there will be quietness and the assurance that this will continue during the Kingdom period.

Isa 60:18 Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Salvation, and thy gates Praise.

Here we are told that violence will no longer be heard in the land nor wasting and destruction.

Isa 66:12 For thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream: then shall ye suck, ye shall be borne upon [her] sides, and be dandled upon [her] knees.

In the Kingdom of Christ, peace will flow out of Jerusalem like a river and will cover the whole earth.

Numb 6:26 The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.

The Lord will give peace to the whole world during the Kingdom of Christ even for 1000 years duration.

Isa 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

One of the names for our Lord Jesus Christ is the Prince of Peace.

Phil 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

The mortals living during the 1000 year Kingdom of Christ will experience this peace of God which passes all understanding.

Haggai 2:9 The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts.

Here we are told that the temple will be greater than the one built by Solomon. Ezek 40-48 describes that temple that will be built by the Branch, Jesus Christ is the Branch, and the services to be held there are also described. The Temple in Jerusalem is where the Lord will give peace to the whole world.

Micah 4:4 But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make [them] afraid: for the mouth of the LORD of hosts hath spoken [it].

We all have heard about the promise of sitting under our own vine and fig tree, as if to say we can just reach out and select something to eat. However we probably all overlook the "none shall make them afraid" or rather they will be dwelling in peace and safety.

Psa 46:9 He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire.

Peace will be the result when the Lord makes wars to cease. In addition the weapons of war will be destroyed.

Micah 4:3 And he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

Here is another reason why there will be peace, besides haviang all the weapons will be distroyed, war will not be taught any more as it is now.

Isa 32:18 And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places;

The whole world will be a peaceable habitation with quiet resting places during the 1000 year Kingdom of Christ.
